A camp it was, as usual as it is, gruesome, horrible and tiring. So as the sole medic in the camp for the three days, being tired is nothing for a huge camp demands alot from him. Unable to rest, he managed to catch some sleep under the hot sun on another camper's shoulder as she was playfully playing with his handphone game. When camp was over, she approached him shyly, asking him for his email address which is weird. Who on Earth ask for someone's email when there are handphones?
As the days go by, they caught up with each other over the net and over the months, they caught a movie together, Alvin and The Chipmunks on the 13th of December 07. And for the first time, he was kissed by her. It was his first kiss. They dated for a few more months and on the 26th April 08, he decided that he wanted to have her as his girlfriend. He poped the question and she agreed. They spent a night together.
She asked him never to leave her and he promised that he will never leave her no matter what happen..
In the first month, she gave him a soft toy and she's called Piggy. And Piggy was supposed to accompany him whenever he feels lonely. In the third month, she gave him another soft toy, called Moo Moo. He placed them both on his bed and slept with them, every night.
Over the months, it was really sweet, hanging out together, making out, playing with each other, joking with each other and getting to know each other's family. As he was holding an odd time job which required him to be working 6days a week and she began complaining that time was not spent with her. Hence, he resigned and signed on a job that is much more physical and mentally tiring although it only requires him to only be working half a month.
He loved the girl so much that he would spend every single off day with her, give up his free time to spend them with her. They went on trips to the Zoo, East Coast Park, Pasir Ris Park, BBQs, family gatherings and spending holiday seasons together. One which he never forgot was 2008 Christmas Eve. Had dinner over at Cafe Cartel before taking a train down to Holland Village to enjoy a pub session before spending a night together.
In 2009, she left for an overseas exchange programme in March. She was be gone for 4months. She missed their first year annivasary and his birthday. During the four months, he wanted to be faithful to her and so, to occupy his time, he took up his driving class for her. In this four months, it really tested both trust and love for each other. Though there were many arguments and fights but in July, she came back with his ring on her hand..
In November 2009, he went for his final course and told her to wait for him as he have to really study hard to pass the final obstacle. She told him she will be busy studying and doing her projects after Christmas. It was a gruesome two month course. They did not meet up over the two months except on Christmas day. After two month, in January 2010, he finally passed his course and he was really glad. After passing his course, he wanted to celebrate with her. But she was busy, always. So, the only thing he could do every evening at 8pm was to call her to tell her that he loves her.
On the 14th of January 2010, 8.35pm, was the last time she told him that she love him.
On the 15th January, he tried to called her but she rejected his calls. At 11pm, she dropped a message asking if they could be best friends instead as she had found someone else.
His World crumbled before him..
He spent his entire bonus to get a new set of couple rings for their 2nd year but she never got to wear them now..
On the ring, it says:
"Jerryboy Loves Whitney"
And it's over now..
